1. Application
YTQC Type Drill String Fishing Magnet is one of the auxiliary tools to ensure the normal drilling operation and bottom hole
cleaning in the process of downhole accident treatment. The main feature of this product is that it works together with the grinding
shoes in the fishing operation, which is different from the previous method of lifting the drill after milling, and then connecting the drill string with the strong magnetic fishing tool to go down the well for cleaning bottom hole , saving a trip down the well operation, which not only saves the drilling cost, but also saves the fishing operation time.
2. Construction
YTQC Type Drill String Fishing Magnet is composed of body, magnetic core, stop block, screw, etc.
3. Working Principle
In the milling and fishing operation, through circulating drillingfluid, the bottom hole debris will be adsorbed to the magnetic core of the drill string fishing magnet under the circulation action, and these debris will return to the ground together with the drill string fishing magnet, so as to achieve the function of milling operation and cleaning the bottom hole at any time.
4. Operation Method
4.1 According to the well diameter and downhole conditions, the suitable high magnetic fishing tool is selected. First, take the high-intensity Drill String Fishing Magnet out of the packing box and put it on the dry and clean wooden board or rubber plate to remove the foreign matters adsorbed on the internal and external surfaces of the high-intensity Drill String Fishing Magnet. After the inspection meets the operation requirements,put the fishing tool on the well platform with the board in advance and connect it with the drill string. After the connection is firm, lift the drill string, remove the board and prepare to enter the well.
4.2 Before the fishing tool goes into the well, it must be tightened with the feeding string according to the tightening torque requirements of the joint.
4.3 During the milling operation, the pipe string connected to the drill string fishing magnetic is drilled to 1m away from the falling object, the pump is started to circulate for 10min, then the drill string is lowered to the bottom, the pressure is 20 - 50kN, and the milling is carried out at low speed. During the milling operation, the mud is circulated while milling, and the milling debris is adsorbed on the drill string fishing magnet with the mud circulation. After the milling operation, the drill string fishing magnet is lifted to the well with the drill string
5. Maintenance
5.1 After each use, the tool should be cleaned, and do not store it for a long time, , in order to avoid corrosion.
5.2 Check all parts after disassembly. The magnetic core found to have decreased magnetism must be replaced with a new one.
5.3 All main parts shall be inspected by flaw detection. During assembly, apply high-quality grease on each thread and enough antirust oil on other parts. At the same time, the magnetic core should be protected with special tool kit to avoid collision. Keep the tool in good condition for use.
5.4 Assembly & Disassembly process
5.4.1 Assembly process
(1) Install the magnetic core into the body.
2) Install the stop blocks into the body.
3) Fit screws and tighten.
5.4.2 Disassembly process
The disassembly process is opposite to the assembly process
