Product Description

1.Application

The Eccentric Roller Swage is used to restoring buckled, collapsed

or dented casing to its normal diameter and roundness in oil, gas,

and water well. The maximum may revert to the 98% of the casing's

original inside diameter.

2.Construction

Eccentric Roller Swage consists of eccentric mandrel,top roller,

center roller, bottom roller, taper roller, screw, steel ball, and so on, as

Eccentric Mandrel: The top of the eccentric mandrel is box thread

connected with drill string. The lower end is four steps with different

sizes and different axis. Thereinto, the axes of box thread, top roller

and bottom roller are the same; the axes of center roller and taper

roller are the other same one. The eccentricity of two axes is e.

Roller: The roller is divided into four kinds, top roller, center roller,

bottom roller and taper roller, among which, the top roller center roller

and bottom roller are the expand parts. Taper roller can play the role

of guide shoe; in addition, it is processed a hemispherical-slot inside

the roller to adapt for eccentric mandrel, load a corresponding steel

ball to lock the top roller, center roller and bottom roller when rotating;

at the same time, taper roller is also participated in the initial

modification.

3.Working Principle

When the drill string rotated along its axis, top roller and bottom

roller are rotated along their axis. There is an eccentricity e between

center roller and top roller/bottom roller axes, so that form a group of

crankshaft cam mechanism with top roller and bottom roller as the

pivot points to make the center roller rotate and expand to restoring

collapsed or dented casing. In addition, when working in a relatively

complex deformation well, as a result of the different deformation, the

top roller, bottom roller and center roller shall be the rolling fulcrum for

each other; but every fulcrum resistance force are different, so when

the eccentric mandrel with eccentricity e rotated, the fulcrum of the

is generated sliding friction movement with eccentric mandrel, and

expand collapsed or dented part to normal.
